On thursday April 24th, Bernard his father passed away.
All CC-members do remember him as the handy-man of the Cycling Center. Bike-racks, works-stands, special-tools, helping building and rebuilding the facility.... all those things were made by Antoon.
In the early days of the Cycling Center he was even helping bringing guys to the races.
We will all miss him very much.
In the weekend we had ANZEGEM on saturday and AFFLIGEM on sunday.
Maybe because of the bad-news of midweek our riders were not very good prepared for those races. We didn't do well in both of them.
This coming week we have a 1.2 UCI-race in Hoboken and a 1.12 race in Denain France, cobbles are waiting.
